I really wish this was a standardized form factor. All of these are basically two 18650 lithium batteries with a charging IC, there's no reason for every single manufacturer to have their own version.

I suspect that it's more expensive to do it this way but that every manufacturer is trying to optimize their battery ICs for some little thing. Also wouldnt be surprised if these were patented or trademarked so you couldnt use them elsewhere.
