Pretty solid deal!

Additionally, the Acer Nitro Walmart deal was so good for $1100 (14700f, 5070, 32gb 1tb) that it is hard not to compare similar computers, basically same specs for $220 less.
People probably also miss the awesome Lenovo power supply, 850w, at this price.
To me this is a very solid deal, probably the best right now for a 5070 system. There will probably be better deals for BF, but if you need a computer now then you can't beat this.
If this went sub $1200 or $1100 with a 5060 ti 16gb I would jump on it for my youngest son. Until then I am going to hold out for one of the Acer Nitro deals, 5060 ti ($999) or 5070 ($1099), to hopefully come back for BF.
I agree, this should be FP.
Are the fans going full speed all the time when gaming?
.
I am not sure why deals don't gain traction vs when a staff member posts it...<br />

Do you have a link to the Acer Nitro walmart deal? I know it's expired but I wanted to see what the specs are.
Acer Nitro w/5070 12gb - $1099
I check on these every day, best deal of the season so far.
Of note another good deal that Costco is advertising for the holiday/BF. Another very good deal IMO and not sure if the 5070 is worth the $319 extra on this deal:
MSI Codex Desktop - $999 Starts in a few weeks I think.
Ultra 7 265
32gb RAM
2tb HD
5060 8gb
650w PS
2 Year Warranty
90 Day Return

Thanks for the links. Looking for something for my teenage kid but really not sure what games they play, lol. The one from Costco might be decent with the (2) year warranty and 90 day return window too. This would be our first foray into the desktop gaming world so really not sure what to look for.
Biggest choice is Desktop vs Laptop. If you don't need portability then the desktop is the way to go, less chance of having heat issues.
I would recommend getting something like a Nvidia 5060 or 5060 ti video card to start, it is more than enough for a first graphics card and with a desktop can be replaced if needed. Anything more might be a money suck and over kill on a first computer.
A 1tb hard drive is fine to start, it may fill up quick but in a desktop it is very easy and cheap to add a second drive.
It is important to have 32gb of RAM, but again its fairly cheap and easy to expand in the future.
Get a modern CPU, most have that, a Ryzen 7 or better and a Ultra 5 or better would be fine to start.
Get a decent monitor 1440p with 120hz or better refresh rate, should be around $200-$250 for a 27".
Don't spend above $1200 on this just in case you don't like gaming computers. But at the $1000 price point you can get something nice that will last you for more than a few years.
