These work pretty good when one wakes up at night, needing a snack. Other Horme'ls have more protein/calories, but this one is smallest filling. One minute to microwave, and less than $1 each.

They are decent to keep at work. If you work IT you never know when you might be stuck at your desk.

They are not bad for those emergencies, the portion is tiny though. I think of it as MRE with flavors.

Snack is the right word. Only 7 gram of protein.

I bought a pack of these back in 2023 when they were on sale. The included bits of chicken were disappointingly minuscule and far between. However, the dish was generally tasty. If you can get it for about a buck a piece, it's a viable alternative to, say, a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, as a quick snack.

The sale seems to be over.
