It is a good deal for a T7, but unless you need a rugged external SSD (like a photographer/videographer on a shoot), you can probably find a cheaper alternate.

A reliable sealed unit that is fairly affordable that has enough storage to be relevant... This is a pretty good deal, and one is hard-pressed to find a decent 2TB M.2 drive for $130 today. Yeah you can get a $15 nvme to USB3 1GB/s enclosure but it's going to be a cheap piece of crap.
I would've def also been in for a 4TB one if it were $250. 8TB would be excellent and sell well priced at like $700 lol...

I tired this rugged one from Amazon in 2021 and it did not even last for 6 months. It stopped working.
