The PS5 Slim disc bundle stands out for getting the 1TB disc model and free shipping, with the disc version adding more storage and a drive that would cost about $80 separately. The console is described as running smoothly, and the extra controller add on is framed as useful backup value, especially for longer sessions or local multiplayer. The main drawback is price, since the deal is compared unfavorably with past Black Friday PS5 bundles and cheaper used or open box options. The promo code also stopped working, so the offer appears to have expired.
PS5 players who are going to start playing right away because one commenter said "if you're going to play right away then buy it," instead of waiting for a lower price later.
People who want a smooth-running PS5 without upgrading soon because one commenter reported their PS5 Slim 1TB disc has been running smoothly for 1.5 years and said there's "no need to upgrade to ps6," calling it a great deal.
Buyers who can use the disc version for physical games and want the extra storage because commenters noted the disc model adds a disc drive and 1TB storage (vs the digital model's 825GB) for about $50 more.
Shoppers who are willing to compare against used-market pricing and still want a new console because one commenter said they keep an eye on eBay/Mercari where lightly used PS5s are often listed around $600 or less, and Amazon open-box can be "like new."
PS5 buyers who want a backup controller for couch co-op because commenters discussed that controller battery life is often around ~5 hours and that having an extra controller "would not be a bad thing" for longer sessions or when someone else plays.
Shoppers who were planning to rely on the promo code/coupon because several commenters reported the code was invalid or dead (e.g., "coupon code is invalid now," "code dead," "doesn't work").
Deal-hunters comparing against past Black Friday bundle pricing because multiple commenters said it's "not a good deal" and referenced earlier Black Friday PS5 bundles at $349.99 (Spider-Man 2 or COD) at Target.
People who are trying to wait for a much lower "real worth" price because one commenter said if you're not playing immediately, you should wait for the disc console to drop below $300.
Buyers who refuse to spend over $400 because one commenter said "I refuse to spend over $400" and instead bought a used slim digital for $275 plus a disc drive to keep the out-of-pocket cost under $400.
Movie-disc and Plex-streaming users because one commenter said PS5/XSX are "pretty bad movie disc players" without Dolby Vision and that Plex streaming support is also poor, recommending Roku Ultra/Apple TV instead.
People expecting the digital model to have more storage than the disc model because one commenter questioned why the digital version has less HD space than the disc version and expected the opposite.

Now Sony's only remaining competitor is PC (Steam), and Steam is selling games for less because they don't subsidize hardware. Sony now wants to make money out of hardware, so that they can match (at least try to match) prices on Steam. In short, consoles won't be subsidized anymore. PS5 is already cheaper than PCs with similar performance.

I rather take the instant discount now than wait for some holiday game bundle for 50 bucks off
Enjoy your stay!
Here's how to get a deal on the Pro. Go on FB market place and buy one used. The console is so recent that it doesn't matter if someone used it all day. I got a Pro, WITH the disc add-on, lightly used for $600 2 weeks ago

Same for the ps5. Maybe there will be a better black Friday bundle offer but this is as good a deal as you can get now.
If you keep talking about how much something should be thinking that'll get you one at that price then you'll be sitting in the corner rocking yourself back and forth ranting about how cheap things used to be. And you won't have the ps5 etc.
