Do not just look at this basic printer, this can be a whole project if you want it to be. Yes this will do basic A1 and A1 mini level stuff out of the box, few months down the line you can build its enclosure, try engineering grade materials, build your own filter, etc etc.
If you're on the verge, I would advise you to go for it. Specially if you have kids, It changes whole mindset from "what can i get to solve this problem" to "What can i make/design to solve this problem"
on the top left where it says printer, you just have to hit the dropdown and change the printer to the ad5x and the error goes away. that drove me crazy for a bit too, kind of weird that you have to do that every time, maybe there is some setting that automates it but it's not the end of the world.

They have files for dry boxes you can print out, I did it for both of my AD5Xs. They are great, unlike my Anycubic S1s, which suck for a ton of reasons.
