I wasn't able to stack it : "You can only apply one coupon code to this purchase."

As someone who wants to get off the utility company teet, is this something I should look into? I know that's a very generic question, but I could use some guidance. I've been super into self-hosting lately and removing myself from everything Google / iCloud, so I've become obsessed with reducing monthly expenditures.

Ideally, I would love a modular system where I could purchase a panel or two at a time.

The $500 was coded as a discount and the $350 was a coupon during checkout. I did get an email from eco-worth about this deal, so I guess mine was different.

I've bought from them in the past and have other eBay items of theirs on my watchlist. Maybe try that. Good luck.

There should be a fire sale on all solar equipment this Blackfriday and Christmas. They should know the 30% solar tax incentive is ending.

You would need to look at your power needs. For instance I would need 3x of those inverters to supply my house year round with the power it needs but if you are just powering a small shed or small home it might be enough for you. Really if your not into this you should consult with someone that can look at your year round power needs, location for panels and figure out what will be best for you to get off of utility power (or find a proper sized system that gets you off it enough that you are happy with the trade offs / split between solar and grid power).

Was wondering how this kit fits in to a 48v solar / battery kit I am looking into. 4-6 tier 1 panels + inverter. Hoping to get 30% ITC credit . Any help would be appreciated . https://diysolarforum.com/threads...mi.109760/

Has anyone had an AHJ approve these for home solar use under NEC 2023 code? Specifically the callout for 706.15 - code language below (specific concern with the bolded portion at the bottom):
It looks like they have a shunt included but do not yet have the capability to remotely activate that shunt...

2023 Code Language:
706.15 Disconnecting Means.
(A) ESS Disconnecting Means. Means shall be provided to disconnect the ESS from all wiring systems, including other power systems, utilization equipment, and its associated premises wiring.
N (B) Location and Control. The disconnecting means shall be readily accessible and shall comply with one or more of the following:
(1) Located within the ESS
(2) Located within sight and within 10 feet from the ESS
(3) Where not located within sight of the ESS, the disconnecting means, or the enclosure providing access to the disconnecting means, shall be capable of being locked in accordance with 110.25
Where controls to activate the disconnecting means of an ESS are used and are not located within sight of the ESS, the disconnecting means shall be lockable in accordance with 110.25, and the location of the controls shall be marked on the disconnecting means.
For one- and two-family dwellings, an ESS shall include an emergency shutdown function to cease the export of power from the ESS to premises wiring of other systems. An initiation device(s) shall be located at a readily accessible location outside the building and shall plainly indicate whether in the "off" or "on" position. The "off" position of the device(s) shall perform the ESS emergency shutdown function.
