Thanks! I missed out on the last deal a few months ago and totally forgot. Too old to be struggling to wind the cords by hand/arm

How do these work? You start with the middle of the cord?

Does this mount onto a wall or just sits on the floor? Pics didn't show it wall mounted.

The one time I felt good about holding onto empty 3D printing filament spools is realizing I could use them for this.

That's kinda smart. I never thought of that. I have a similar one and always found it inconvenient to use.

How is this better than rolling it up by hand?

If you only need to roll out some cord to get power, I like the outlets on the reel version, vs the storage reel version. With the version listed you have to unroll the whole thing to use it. With the outlet type it just is a big ass extension cord with multiple outlets. I'd look for one with a better circuit breaker as I use 12g cord and grinders on mine, and since I have the cords already I would look for one without the cords.

Not knocking the post, it has it's place, but woods is a name sold to anyone making anything. Woods was a manufacturer of tractor implements.

Example, but has a cord

I prefer this type, the female is always available and you can wind just the length needed

You should unroll the entire thing anyways because when coiled the heat generation has the ability to burn your house down. Items like this are for storage.
