It is great but needs an HD release.
Have the dvd set already but this is 2025, DVD should have been killed off about 15 years ago as it lacks the resolution of any tv you can buy for $20 at a thrift store.

It was an extremely low budget TV show and was probably originally recorded on VHS or Beta, but in the original PAL (European) format it would have been slightly higher resolution than NTSC version we have in the US (576 lines vs 480 lines). Can anyone with a PAL version of the DVD set comment on the resolution and picture quality compared to the US version?

Seems like the only way we'll ever see better quality Bean in the future is with AI upscaling.
