I have this board running in a recent build with a Ryzen 5700G, 32GB DDR4 3600 and a 2TB WD 850X SSD. Haven't tuned it yet, but running fine.
Powers up and boots up into Windows 11 logon in less than 30 seconds. Nice that the MSI motherboard tool app can modify the RAM colors scheme.

Have this board paired with a 5700X3D. No issues.

The highest CPU overall is the 5950X, the best gaming CPU is the 5800X3D. With their high prices right now they're not worth buying since you can get an AM5 setup for about the same. Based on current new prices, the CPUs I would pair with this are the 5600 for a gaming PC or a 5800XT if you need 8 cores.

99.99% chance you won't, unless they still somehow have stock from the initial release of this motherboard from 5 years ago.

I just built a system with this board, 5700x, 32gb DDR4, RX 6600 XT. It's been great so far and the wifi is 6E so it's faster than advertised.

The price of RAM has gone bonkers in the past few months. It's over double what it used to be for DDR4. Even SSDs have been creeping up a few dollars a day. So drives that were $55 last month are $65 this month. All the AI nonsense is scooping up millions of chips every month which doesn't leave much left over for consumer stuff.

You can get 5700x for not much more than a 5600. I think that is pretty much the sweet spot for value if not going for 5950 or one of the x3d's.
