Most af the negative reviews report the cheap plastic zipper breaks almost immediately. So probably about 80/20% junk zipper/Halloween use-&-return if the reviews are any indication.

This is one case where I wouldn't interpret "frequently returned" as a negative on the product. It's most likely that people are buying it at full price and returning when they're done with it. Even aside from Halloween, I always see videos of people doing pranks in these. So, once the prank is over for these people, it's time to return. At this price, more people will probably keep it.

This costume gets incredibly hot and swampy inside to the point where the clear part you see out of fogs up. The kid version of this is better where their face is exposed. It's a really cool and fun costume but be warned that it turns into a swamp inside
