I bought the TCL Alto 8 soundbar last year on sale in October for $80. This soundbar is is loud, crisp and the bass is solid. I love watching action movies because it sounds great and very loud. Movie nights are much better with a great sound bar.

You might want to post the TCL deal, I'm sure people would appreciate it.
Edit: here's a brief AI comparison - some people may prefer the TCL height channels, which the JBL lacks:
TCL Alto 8+ 2.1.2 vs JBL Cinema SB550: Budget Soundbar Showdown!
- **Channels**: TCL's 2.1.2 adds Dolby Atmos height effects for immersive 3D sound; JBL's 3.1 shines with a dedicated center for crystal-clear dialogue.
- **Power & Bass**: TCL packs 300W with boomy sub; JBL's 250W feels balanced & epic.
- **Features**: TCL supports full Atmos, 4K HDR, smart integration (Alexa/AirPlay); JBL has Bluetooth 5.3 & USB playback but no Atmos.
- **Price**: Both ~$150–$250. TCL: 4.2/5 stars, great for movies. JBL: 4.5/5, better for TV/sports.
Pick TCL for cinematic vibes, JBL for everyday clarity!
value comparison;
For $90, you get Dolby Atmos support (even if virtual and not elite), higher 300W power, and solid immersion for movies—making it a steal for budget upgrades. The JBL Cinema SB550 at $150 is more polished with clearer dialogue and balanced sound, but the extra cost doesn't justify it unless vocals are your top priority. If you're watching lots of Atmos content on streaming, go TCL to maximize value.
