One thing to look out for with both these styles is the rod that cuts through the glass bulbs, which can make it a hassle to remove the bulbs or obstruct the plant when it grows.
There are newer versions (look up "propagation station") where the bulbs are easier to remove because the rods are not designed to cut through them, like this $13 one:

If I had it to do again I would definitely skip that style and go for the kind you linked, it's worth a few extra bucks.
Like the picture, I put pothos in mine. I have 2 comments: 1) the wooden base does not have a grip on them, 2) my pothos have not grown in them. If you purchase this, I'd highly advise putting some rubber bands so that the stand can grip the surface. I didn't have any grip on mine, so the two wooden legs split open and the bottom of the glass hit the surface, cracking the glass. I only have 2 of the glass components remaining. As for my second comment, my pothos plants have not seen noticeable growth in 4 years. I just use tap water, no liquid fertilizer.

At this point I think the chinese resellers are just seeing how dumb of names they can come up with and americans still buy. I've noticed this since covid, seems to be getting "worse".
