Really? I was about to pull the trigger. I only need to use it every now and then for occasional car work. I wonder if I should prioritize comfort or torque.

I really didn't see where you need to use 1300 ft.lb of torque...

Most lighter drivers are strong enough for most of the work. Go comfort

Depends how you're looking at it. If Logic is your driver go with the mid torque which is very comfortable to me and realistically will handle 99% of jobs. If you want something that's kickass and will handle every job but is a bit uncomfortable go with this guy. Solid deal from a $$$ perspective with the batteries. I think you're sacrificing some comfort to throw some decent batteries in the mix

Don't forget about size. This may not fit in some areas.

I would go with the mid torque. I got the old version with 1500 torque. The only thing I used it on was the honda crank bolt, so I sold it.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look at the mid torque options than.

By the way this sale price come and goes every few weeks since I have been eyeing it , so if you miss it just a wait a bit. It seems like it's on sale more often than not.

I have a fairly wide range as a DIY weekend warrior. My vote, this and an m12 stubby or equivalent. The mid torque is still big and can't press in ball joints etc like this guy. This is a deal, no question about it.

This and a stubby covers all bases. Mid torque is too big for the small stuff and too small for the big bolts. I'm not a keyboard warrior, I just know from having a variety and what gets used.

Yes I have the m12 stubby Gen 2, and it wouldn't budge the axle nut on my rusty Subaru. The mid torque took a few hits and the high torque almost instantly got it.

I have one and use it alot but the complaints here are valid.
Its bulky and heavy. Somtimes i have to rig up a bunch of wobble extensions to get it where i need it. On the plus side, it will spin anything off/on. I accidentally stripped all of my wheel lug studs on one hub when i first got it.
