You get 2. They have a lifetime warranty. Might not be enough for someone who's using it at a job site but might be just fine for others. Plus, it's probably not the first piece of the ecosystem. But, if you don't want them, but just the tool or go with the Ryobi for less.

Do you think it is a good deal considering the batteries are max output?

I don't like this design. You want to put a bigger battery for more power and last longer but that will lift the tool of the base. For tool like sander I prefer corded unless cordless is a must.

It's fits at least a 4ah without issue
