Bambu Lab's sale stands out as a strong entry point for easy, reliable printing, especially the P1S at $399 and the A1 or A1 Mini for beginners. The ecosystem, app printing, and MakerWorld integration make setup and model access feel simple, and the printers are praised for skipping bed leveling and tuning while delivering consistent first layers. The P1S gets extra credit for enclosure support and dependable long runs, while the A1 series is favored for easier nozzle changes and flow calibration. Main caveats are AMS pricing and packaging, since the combo often includes the first generation unit, some accessories ship separately, and multicolor printing adds waste and time.

Looking to get the A1 mini for my daughters 10th birthday as her first 3D printer. Seems like a good choice, any reason why I should look for something different.

If you can afford it I would go for the A1. The bigger built plate is worth the extra $80.I have the mini and regret not getting the A1 when I bought it. You can print many more things with the A1 than the mini.Just some friendly advice.

I bought the P1S combo with AMS for $549 yesterday. I see the one with AMS2 Pro on sale for $619 today. Should I buy this one and return the first order once I get it? Is it worth the hassle?

Do I even need dryer or ams2? P1s combo is already slightly over my budget.

What about the kit to connect it? I received both ams2 and p1s but I can't find the buffer and power cord to the ams2 that is advertised on the product page. They haven't shipped the free vibration feet but it doesn't mention the kit is going to be shipping with it. I'm at a lost.

Got my printer today! Fedex guy was kinda rough with it

Haven't had time to set it up.

FYI:
It only came with 1 partial spool of starter filament. In the past, they gave you 3 different samples.
It did not come with the AMS 2 Pro. That might be a separate shipment?

If you bought it from Bambu you will have to pay to ship back the first one unless you can figure out a way to refuse the order. Unfortunately mine was delivered yesterday and while it's still unopened I do have to pay to ship back.

I got mine yesterday with the AMS2 and then the accessories today. I had to wait for the accessories because the AMS2 power adapter and other accessories I needed. I set everything up and found that I was missing the four-prong bambu bus cable that is needed to communicate to the AMS2 from the PS1. Turns out they ran out of them and shipped it in a separate shipment. I should have it Monday or Tuesday. I took the AMS 2 and hub back off the machine and set up just one spool and have printed some things so far. Pretty cool!

I still have to open up the print head and check to see if I need to order the hardened gear.

Damn, I bought P1S 2 weeks ago for $450, then I wanted to add a AMS 2 Pro, they won't order it for me for $619-$450, instead they gave me the $50 off for next purchase coupon, I ended up spending $491+$351 (tax included) 🄹

Does anyone know if just the AMS lite goes on sale. I got the A1 but now want to get the AMS unit. I know, should have gone for combo to begin with Smilie
I am in the same boat as you. What did you finally decide on? AMS Lite fro $179 or AMS 2 Pro for #279?

Got my P1S today, still waiting for AMS 2 Pro and filaments. Printed my first 3d print smoothly without any issues. Though the quick start guide is not clear enough on which parts are spare, which are not.
The printer is sitting in my office room along with my old laser printer. Man, this thing is loud! I'm a bit regretted for not waiting for P2S, which should be a lot quieter.

Yeah wish there was a P2S Combo (with AMS 2 Pro). I need something enclosed for the garage.

I am looking to upgrade my family's 3D printer for Christmas.

We currently have a CREALITY ENDER 3 V2, purchased July 2022.

I do not use the 3D printer, don't know how, and honestly haven't had any interest in learning about it either... this of course makes it quite difficult for me to determine what is a suitable upgrade. I've done a little research, and it appears the Bambu printers are very well reviewed and get high marks in a lot of the categories that users consider to be important.

I am confused by the configuration options. Looking over the Bambu Black Friday offerings, I'm leaning toward the Bambu P1S, w/ AMS PRO2 Combo (Combo with Buffer, no hub) [bambulab.com] this comes out to $599.00. Does this look like a good upgrade to our Creality? Also, do I need a hub for the AMS? I don't think they'll ever be using more than one AMS.

I'd also like to buy filament, so they are able to use it when they open it... and I'm confused by all the add-ons and extra parts in the drop down boxes. What is really essential to get started? Thanks for any help guiding me in this purchase.
