So is it basically luck of the draw if you get Brazil or China made?

Anyone think we will see the price go down a little more or is this about as low as it will get?

This is pretty low, especially with tariffs, I would do it if I was considering. I thought it was usually made in Brazil outside of Walmart, but Costco has a great return policy so even if it's China, not much of a problem. Bought my Brazil ones from Home Depot 5 years ago and they're great.

Yeah I remember seeing this set or a similar one from Costco last year and some were saying they received China and some received Brazil. I think most that received China ended up returning for obvious reasons. I might pull the trigger on this set and return the henckels I bought last year from Costco (not impressed)

I wouldn't normally but the pans have warped a little overtime and I just haven't had time to go down to the store yet but that might just keep being my excuse to keep them ha

Did a quick search to see if it is a best deal or not and and noticed the inflation up by $30?

Back in the day, those Kirkland, Italian made, All-Clad clone set, for $100 was too good to last. Except the pans. 25 years and going strong, daily use. Got the kid, their updated style about 10 years ago. Loves them. Compare to what they have in Kirkland's. But, these look great.

Not to sound dumb, but what are the obvious reasons? Is it lack of regulation? Cause I assumed that since it's a reputable brand they'd be consistent and care about what is being used and how (like their SOP)

edit: this was in regards to your comment about returns for the Chinese made ones, not for the desire to return a cookware set one year after use

Damn, this used to be below $160 price range almost once or twice a year, every year in the past four/five years or so if my memory serves me right. Now $190 seems to be a good deal?

Any chance this deal will come back later this year?
Also, for the people who bought, did you get made in China or Brazil?
