Good price for two Bosch battery packs. Just got the miter saw from Lowe's and the battery that comes with it seems not powerful enough. I think Lowe's was clearing this out at 70ish per battery, but that was super YMMV. This one comes with two batteries and price per battery is close to Lowes clearance price.

Do you have any bad experience with Bosch 18v batteries? The warranty covers 3 years from purchase though.

I think you may be able to find some chargers off ebay with pretty low cost. Do note that different chargers have different current outputs, and the charging time is quite different. I have a 16A charger for these 8ah batteries, and it takes about half an hour to fully charge one battery. The 4a chargers will take considerably longer time.

Actually the lowest was $112.42 back on 10/24/23 if you count BOGO free deal. Then Acme Tools had the 12ah BOGO deal for $155.49 on 11/2/23.

Amazon price tracking site(camelcamelcamel) shows this is the lowest price for this specific item. If you are talking about hackable BOGO, please share link. If the deals you mentioned are not hackable, they are not actually comparable. Lowe's is running the BOGO deal now with price of 279. The issue is I don't need any of those additional tools, and my out of pocket cost is higher.

No hack needed. As I stated, this was a big deal back 2023. My 2 packs was $112.42 from Amazon came out to be a few dollars more than Acme Tools deal. I bought the 2 packs 8ah from Amazon and the 2 12ah packs from Acme Tools a week later.

Tabless is marketing hype, most tools won't notice any improvement excapt maybe a small increase in run time. High amp draw tools get the most benefit from tabless. Grinders, rotary hammers, circular saws. Bosch announced tabless cells two years ago with procore 18V+ branding. The new Expert branding is also tabless with even more discharge amp capacity.
