edit: now that the NBA2K26 game is included for free, I'd rank this "IGN" deal better than the Costco deal.

Nah these companies are just greedy. Economy is as good as ever and they saw consumers willingness to spend 2x/3x the price for scalped consoles and GPUs and it set the market baseline.
