The Costco deal is $55 more but includes an extra controller so basically the same when it comes to overall deal.

Unsure why this is getting downvoted as it matches the pricing frorm yesterday's +124 Frontpage deal. It only takes an extra minute or two to sign up for a free IGN account.

That's an interesting way of viewing it but seems to leave out a key consideration... Technology prices generally come down over time. Without a doubt, most of the components needed to build a PS5 are cheaper today than they were in 2020

Less than 10% off of launch MSRP is a deal... Sony has already bragged multiple times about how much profit they're making this console generation. Greed is ruining everything

That's because it is. At least for now Sony is less greedy with price increases than Microsoft. Xbox has gone way off the deep end and I'm not sure if they can recover. Hopefully some more console deals drop for BF.

I usually waited multiple years for price drops that didn't happen with ps5. I got a refurb pa3 slim on 2012 for $150 and ps4 pro in 2017 for $300. If the ps5 slim dropped to $300 that would've been fair but now unlikely

If you don't mind a used console, $300-350 is pretty much the going rate for PS5.
