My first time visiting Scheels in Reno, Nevada and I got to say this place is amazing. Not only is it amazing but the people that work there have the best customer service. I wish they have the store at other states nearby.

I agree! I have been to Scheels in Fargo and in the Twin Cities and both are such fun stores and great service! They also price match everything.

Does anyone know how wide the actual oven opening is? I have a 14" wide pizza peel and need to know if it will fit. Thanks.

It says it has a 12" stone and that looks to be about the size of the opening. So I would say 12" if not a little bit smaller

What is with people wanting to cook pizza outside, does it taste better than cooking it inside?

The sparks one is nice but everything seems pricey there aside from the faris wheel 😅

Not sure it has anything to do with cooking outside as much as a normal household stove can't reach over 500° f let alone the 750° heat of a Pizza oven. The very high heat in pizza ovens makes for a much better crust, proper cheese melting and overall cooking . Not to mention they take less than a couple of minutes of cooking and done!

Cooking at really high temps makes a good amount of smoke, it also heats up a house in the summer.

That said, this is a big skip, a 12" oven is going to make a 9" or smaller pizza. Unless you love Neo pizza and can't afford a bigger oven, there is no reason to get this.

Most pizza ovens use wood or propane, which means the smoke and exhaust need to be vented somewhere. And even electric pizza ovens create smoke if the cheese or pizza crust gets really hot or burns. So, regardless of the type of pizza oven, using them outside is generally preferable.

Yeah, it's definitely not the smoke, 🙄!!
