Don't buy from this scam site. They sold me fake Ferragamo glasses, had to threaten to do a charge back before they accepted a return

I really like the Hugo Boss glasses I got a couple years ago from them, but I only buy polarized. None of these are.

The Ferragamo's I ordered from them were real. They came with the molded hard case. No one fakes a molded hard case on a $30 pair of glasses.

I buy to look cool, um, regardless of brand. But of course, wished they are the real brand.

I commented here earlier and can say this site isn't a fake. They charge for returns but I lose my glasses all the time so I buy a bunch and them and jomashop are my go to... It's a real site not sure why the hate ⁰

It doesn't matter. Designer sunglasses are a racket. There is a single company that manufactures and designs sunglasses for apparel companies like Hugo, Gucci, LV, Armani, etc. Only the name is licensed. Same factory, same materials for all brands. The only variation would be in the technology, Polarized, spring-loaded hinges, plastic vs metal frame.

If Armani doesn't want their name on of the proposed designs, Guess or Lacoste will instead. Nothing changes in regards to materials or manufacturing. So instead of it being $500 glasses, they would end up being $80 because of the name licensing.

I've purchased from Eyedictive in the past - two pairs of Smith sunglasses, and both appeared to be absolutely genuine (original boxes, cases, Smith sleeve). One pair of my Smith sunglasses broke at the hinge after about a year of use in the car... contacted Smith and provided my Eyedictive receipt (and held my breath because it was Eyedictive) and Smith required me to break the sunglasses further (making them unusable), but accepted my warranty claim based on an Eydictive receipt. So, not only did the sunglasses appear real, they were even warrantied by the designer sunglass brand.
That said, what made you confident that your Ferragamo glasses were fakes? How did you know for sure?

How long ago did that happen? I bought Salvatore Ferragamo Brown Square Men's Sunglasses SF173S 21 59 for $60 from Joma Shop ~5 years ago which didn't hold up well - wondering if those were fakes?

That said, I bought Serengeti Carrara for $60 from Eyedictive that turned out to be the best sunglasses I've ever owned in my life. Now I tell my friends & family to skip these fashion brands & invest in a quality product from Serengeti with mineral glass, photochomatic lenses and Made in Italy metal frames built to last. Very robust warranty as well.

I'm going to link to a comment I wrote a few years ago on an EyeDictive thread to help share what I found out when researching authenticity:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16514158-hugo-boss-men-s-sunglasses-various-styles-36-free-shipping?p=162434554#post162434554

Summary: these are probably very good fakes, with the possibility that some of the inventory is real on the website. When other SD'ers have reached out to the OEM's of the sunglasses a few brands have said this site sells fakes. If EyeDictive is buying from third party distributors (likely) there's really no good way for them to vet authenticity and perhaps they turn a blind eye as well.

How did you KNOW they were fakes? I just don't think these comments are very helpful when there is ZERO context to comments like this. You're commenting to warn other people not to buy from Eyedictive, but you're offering pretty much no information other than "tough6guy" knows that Eyedictive (which has been around a fairly long time) is ripping everyone off with fakes. Context such as what brand sunglasses did you buy in what year and did you contact Eyedictive that you THOUGHT they were fakes, and did Eyedictive respond? Did you get your money back? How did you verify the sunglasses you bought were fakes?
