Remember that the wattage/power on the unit is usually "startling" which is higher than the running watts/power.

Make sure you evaluate what you want to run with it.

I have the 8750 Inverter model and I like it. I've had to use it twice, and it's simple enough my wife and use it and refuel it when I'm gone.

No? That's never been a sale. They've done 20-30% off any item $20-30 and under depending on the sale conditions for that time.

For those of us in Florida remember we have no sales tax on generators (under 10k) and other hurricane supplies year round now, not just the 2 week "holiday."

so i scooped the 2500 (starting) 2000W (running) quiet predator, think it's brand new for I think it was $499 a few weeks ago. I use it to charge my Delta 2 Max and sometimes my river 2. sometimes at the same time, it did conk out one time from charging them both full tilt along with a couple other smaller things, but that's right in line with being over the 2000 running watts for a period of time. It just idled down, stopped outputting power and when i turned it off and refired it it worked fine. Thing works great, charges up Delta 2 max at the most it will show pull which is usually about 1.69kW and that load % works out to be a pretty good efficiency zone i think so far. If you put it at around 500-1000 watts then it is noticably quieter and only in those zones is it really worthy of being quiet at all. Ask me any questions, this is in my DIY camper.
