It is said that this CPU has 8 P-cores which are good enough for gaming (also 16 E-cores good for multi-threading...)

Look at the performance of this 'laptop' processor. It's fast and sips power.

How many Sata ports does the motherboard have? Also, any way to install multiple 3.5" HDD to this case (if anyone owns or has attempted the same)?

it is a weird PC it should be arround 1100$... we dont know the ports and MOBO specs/pics which is really important since it is a LAPTOP CPU a good cpu but a weird build what if my cooler doesnt fit(iv spend 500$ on noctua top of the line and now it wont fit in here)? Satas? pci lines? this product is made for gamers who dont care much about the real reach of his investment/machine

Processor sips power but GPU pulls 350 watts.
CPU will probably bottleneck the 5070 ti. If it has any hope to keep up the cpu will be pusbing its 150 watt limit so its not accomplishing much.
Why pick the 5th fastest GPU and pair it with the 50th fastest CPU? Makes zero since.

Is the laptop processor soldered like in a laptop or in a socket?

Serious question. How would the CPU bottleneck the GPU? The CPU has PCIe 5.0 and the GPU runs at PCIe 5.0

You can google it but its a well known thing. One of the reasons AMD is beating intel at gaming on the CPU side
Basically the GPU needs the CPU to send it instructions. These high end GPUs can do the work faster than some CPUs can tell them what.
Imagine 1 boss telling 100 really dumb workers each task they need to do. By time he has told the 100th worker what to do, the first few have completed their task and waiting on boss to start the next job.
Pretty much the difference in GPU and CPU. CPU has several brains and few muscles, GPU has thousands of dumb but strong workers. You need both to work balanced or one is under performing

Frustrated that I didn't wait. Bought it "on sale" for 1799 a week ago. This is my only problem right now with Lenovo is that they artificially inflate their prices to have "sales" and utilize weird coupon stacking. This also impacts their "price matching" which I put in finger quotes because the prices can't be matched as no one else is selling the exact configs they are putting together.
My Timespy score is: 26,648 and the CPU only reached 68c. (CPU score is 17,140).
Geekbench scores are 2,887- single core and 18,953-multicore
Novabench CPU score was 3,676.
I upgraded from a i711700KF which had massive overheating issues and I'll take the very quiet and cool laptop CPU all day after the research I did on it. Every single benchmark is at least double my previous "desktop" CPU. I also use this system for Lightroom and Topaz software which typically bakes the processor, but on this system, the times are significantly better. On my previous CPU, it would throttle down significantly to keep from overheating during those tasks.

love how no desktop nowadays ever has more than 32 gb memory! like 64 gb is the sweet spot but they give the cheapest set of 16 gb ddr5 they can find!
