It's fantastic if you want something that can power pretty much anything that runs on a standard 15A household outlet while keep a small enough weight/size so that you can easily tote it with one hand. It's also much more durable than anything you can DIY.
How do I use it? It runs my full sized desktop with 2 displays while connected to a 350W solar panel. Granted the load is only around 150-200W, it runs at least 10 hours a day. If I have excess energy, I'll use it for vacuuming or cooking with a microwave or induction stove, so it can handle 1500W+ continuous loads (one at a time, of course). If could put up to 1000W of solar into it, but I don't have the space for the panels. BTW, you can get cheap used 350W panels for around $25 locally.
I generate about 40kwh of solar every month, so it's saving me rough $10/mo plus giving me a small amount of backup energy independence. Power outages are pretty rare where I am, but they do happen and now I have no concern about the hundred of dollars of groceries and frozen meats that I store.
The biggest drawback is the 1kwh capacity is relatively small for something with an 1800W inverter; If you used the full load on an AC, it would only run about 30 mins. But you can't have small size and large capacity with LFP batteries. However, there are ways to extend the runtime with external batteries. If you need something with more capacity but less portability or you need more power, buy something else.

This review says Bluetti can't run a 1275W window air conditioner, where EcoFlow Delta 3 easily can.

This Bluetti Elite 100 V2 stands out as a compact 1 kilowatt hour power station for home backup, office use, and light solar setups. It runs desktops and monitors quietly, works well as an uninterruptible power supply, and can keep a large fridge going for many hours when the startup surge is within range. The included MC4 to XT60 adapter and app support make solar and daily use straightforward. The main caution is that real output and appliance startup demands can be tighter than the headline specs suggest, especially for air conditioners and higher draw fridges. A small, capable unit if portability matters more than maximum runtime.
Common Questions (5)
It can run many fridges and other compressor loads, but startup surge is the key limit. A large LG fridge reportedly ran for at least 12 hours, while a 1275W window AC was reported as not starting until a firmware fix; higher-wattage compressors may need more headroom than the 1800W rating suggests.
At around 150-200W, it can run a desktop setup for about 10 hours a day, and a large fridge has been reported to last at least 12 hours. At full AC output, the 1kWh battery is only enough for roughly 30 minutes, so runtime depends heavily on the appliance draw.
Yes, it supports up to 1000W of solar input and includes an MC4-to-XT60 adapter. A practical setup is a single higher-voltage panel under 60V, or two 30V panels in series, with 12AWG cable to reduce voltage drop over longer runs.
Yes, it has been used as a UPS for an OLED ultrawide and computer pulling up to about 750W without shutoffs. It is also described as basically silent and compact enough to fit a small office setup.
The output display can be inaccurate at low loads, with a 40W laptop reportedly showing 75W. Bluetti customer service reportedly said the reading is normal and becomes accurate at higher wattages.

Get the highest voltage panel you can get that's below 60V or get two 30V panels and put them in series. You'll have almost no voltage drop with 12awg cables. Most of the foldable panels are only ~20V, which are going to have quite a bit of loss for runs over 10'.
The bluetti has a serious defect in that the output power is significantly inaccurate. Low wattage devices don't even register on the display. My 40 watt laptop shows 75 watts output on the display.
Bluetti customer service said this is normal and that it will be accurate with high wattage devices. GTFO
Promptly returned it. It's too bad because I really wanted to like it. Say what you want about Jackery but it just feels like a higher quality product with great execution.
I was nervous as some BLUETTI stuff I have can be a bit loud, but this thing is basically silent and the wifi support for this through the app is much welcomed. I've had no issues and it works great. FYI, the EcoFlow app is fair superior imho to BLUETTI, but it's fine. I wish it had charge capacity limits so it wasn't always trying to top off to 100% everytime it drains a % or two.
You could easily do your whole office ups system then some off a unit this size. I have some other 1kwh units and they are much bigger and heavier than this one, so BLUETTI did a great job packing a lot into a small package. Highly recommend.
