EcoFlow Delta 3 and Delta 3 Plus.

This review says Bluetti can't run a 1275W window air conditioner, where EcoFlow Delta 3 easily can.

Hobotech on YouTube had a similar issue and said this was fixed by a firmware update

Yes, how long depends on your specific appliance though. I have a large LG fridge and 1kwh is enough for at least 12 hours.

Seems like false advertising then if they're claiming continuous 1800w and 2700w boost, and can't even do 1200w continuous.

Check the wattage requirements on yours. Most full size fridges with a freezer are around 1-1.2kw. but they also surge a bit when starting the compressor, so need the head room for the surge.

This should in theory work, and be fine for most fridges for like 10+ hours, but there are reviews noting issues with it meeting max speced wattage, and that could be cutting it close for a fridge with higher wattage needs.

I've had this unit for over 2 months and I use it everyday.

It's fantastic if you want something that can power pretty much anything that runs on a standard 15A household outlet while keep a small enough weight/size so that you can easily tote it with one hand. It's also much more durable than anything you can DIY.

How do I use it? It runs my full sized desktop with 2 displays while connected to a 350W solar panel. Granted the load is only around 150-200W, it runs at least 10 hours a day. If I have excess energy, I'll use it for vacuuming or cooking with a microwave or induction stove, so it can handle 1500W+ continuous loads (one at a time, of course). If could put up to 1000W of solar into it, but I don't have the space for the panels. BTW, you can get cheap used 350W panels for around $25 locally.

I generate about 40kwh of solar every month, so it's saving me rough $10/mo plus giving me a small amount of backup energy independence. Power outages are pretty rare where I am, but they do happen and now I have no concern about the hundred of dollars of groceries and frozen meats that I store.

The biggest drawback is the 1kwh capacity is relatively small for something with an 1800W inverter; If you used the full load on an AC, it would only run about 30 mins. But you can't have small size and large capacity with LFP batteries. However, there are ways to extend the runtime with external batteries. If you need something with more capacity but less portability or you need more power, buy something else.

Even a lot of 2000 watt inverters can't power an air conditioner or fridge because of the initial amp draw when the compressor kicks on is just too high.

How are you running the solar panel into the house? / To the desktop area?

I noticed they corrected their specs from first release to say it has cylindrical cells vs prismatic cells (17 year life vs 10 years). Only the Elite 200 V2 has prismatic cells and the only one in the US I've seen that uses them for extra long life.

Otherwise if you can get something at a significantly lower price for the same or better capacity, output, input, etc... you should go with that. The build quality is pretty good on the Bluetti.

Also, what company puts out a teardown video on it's official youtube page? Bluetti.

Sure, but this is supposed to boost to 2700w. You would expect that to be enough overheard for the additional startup surge draw.
