If it were, it would have been mentioned in the listing at Costco. Since it is not, it's safe to assume that it might most likely be TN as the budget VivoBooks are notorious for having TN panels in a lot of their model, if not all. It can only be confirmed by a buyer of this.

I haven't encountered a touchscreen laptop with TN screen, except perhaps an old Dell 11.6" 768p Chromebook from the last decade, also a few cheap prepaid phones from years ago (Alcatel LG TCL ZTE).

Many TN touchscreens out there. Own 2 different ones here unfortunately. One is a Dell Inspiron 15 5570 from Costco BF 2019 and the other is an HP that Target sold for $250 3 BF's ago. That HP one is also not FHD either... The Dell is FHD, but still a TN screen. 😩

Does the model number alone determines if it's IPS or TN? F1504VA-IS79T listed on the Costco page is also found in Best Buy, where it states that it's IPS. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/a...JJGHT49XQL

Asus specs page doesn't say IPS or TN, but you're guaranteed 45% NTSC screen (bottom of the barrel in terms of color)
https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/f.../techspec/

As for no USB-C charging, these say yes though I wouldn't trust either of these 100%:

https://laptopdecision.com/review...4-cfg61121

If not, there are USB PD trigger cables you can buy for $10. The hardest part is to find what size is the barrel jack. For older Asus laptop they use 4.0mmx1.35mm, and 20V is fine when the laptop charger says 19V.

(Edit) Costco page says ø4.5 (mm) so it's likely a different kind of jack than my 10-year-old Asus laptop.

This page says 4.5mmx3.0mm: https://www.usalaptopbattery.com/...47c6d56d2c

That's pretty common in Asus laptops right now. I've gotten 3 in the last year and they all used that same charger.
