This is a no-frills portable display. There isn't much to pro/con. These are more of a "if you don't know why you need it, you probably don't". I use these when traveling to client or remote sites and need a 2nd display for workflow management or separating shared vs not-shared content in meetings.

It's got basic display functionality but don't expect anything beyond a serviceable display.

Thinking of maybe getting this as a standalone monitor for my Unifi camera/console window. Anyone use something like this for a similar use case?

Thanks for the input! I was most interested in the use case you mentioned and use with a Steam Deck as well.

I think it's great as a "throw it in" display. 1080p60 but if you're gaming on the go and just want a serviceable screen it's hard to beat. There are "gaming" versions out there with better specs but you'll pay substantially more for them.

I've even managed to get my One Plus 12 to output to it which is hilarious.

Been wanting one of these when traveling or working away from my dual monitor setup. This is perfect and at a good price with a costco guarantee. Buy one on Amazon for $15 cheaper its breaks and you're screwed

No 3.5mm audio jack
It has a headphone jack, plus speakers and a full size HDMI port (vs mini-HDMI port that is often seen on budget portable monitors). I'd consider this if I didn't already have several cheap portable monitors.

I think because sometimes you can find similar no-name brand monitors on Amazon for like $40
