  • ELEGOO PLA MATTE filament features matte low-saturation macaron colors. These pastel shades bring a touch of elegance to your prints, while the matte finish helps to hide visible layer lines for a better visual appeal.
  • Our PLA MATTE is less prone to stringing and deformation than PLA, resulting in cleaner and more accurate prints, reducing the need for post-processing and saving you time and effort.
  • Our matte PLA boasts an impressive dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.02mm and a tight tolerance of 1.75mm diameter, ensuring consistency and precision in every print.
  • Each cardboard spool is neatly wound and undergoes strict manual inspection to prevent filament entangles and crossed turns, providing a smooth and uninterrupted printing experience.
  • All filaments go through a complete drying process and are vacuum-sealed with desiccants to prevent dust and moisture. This reduces clogging or bubbles during printing and maintains optimal filament conditions.

PETG's tougher and handles heat better, but PLA prints cleaner, with sharper details, less stringing, and better dimensional accuracy. Each has its place depending on the part's purpose. I print plenty of PETG and it's often my default material (depending on what I have on hand) when either is acceptable, but calling it superior "in every possible way" ignores reality.

I bought some of the matte and the PLA+ last yr and still haven't used it up. I preferred the matte material over the PLA+ feels more solid. Speed is limited to around 250mm/s max on my p1s at around 220C. I have been printing at 80mm/s dor outer walls and 150mm/s for everything else.
Thanks for posting, may have to buy more ...

YES, finally. Matte filament at less than $12 a roll! Thank you. I bought 30 rolls! lol. 20 black and 10 white. I find that the deeplee or elegoo brand print bettter than anything else I have tried on my bambu lab printer.

I've been printing mostly in PTEG lately. Any reason why you prefer pla?

Just like the matte look and it's easier for me to print compared to petg. (petg seems to string more for me and overall seems to be more finicky. I'm in florida so humidity might be why).

My items don't need significant heat resistance or strength so the PLA just prints easier and looks nice.

PETG is superior than PLA in every possible way. You just have more different PLA like marble or silk etc etc

Check amazon. Prices might be better there. 4 white is $42.46, same with black. There are some other color combos still around $11 a roll.

I've been using primarily Sunlu PLA, but slowly starting to move away from it. Their matte black and white have been great. However, their PLA and PLA+ colors are very translucent, which requires a lot more layers to get a solid color than I would like.

I like the way it looks, and for the price it is hard to beat. Get where you are coming from though, because I prefer Elegoo and Creality for most things. Just stocking up on some things while there are flash sales before Black Friday right now. Their base color, matte 4 pack is great for colored lithophanes and pictures from something like HueForge.

I'm on this deal. This is a good price for this high quality, great looking filament. Been waiting for this price. I usually use this stuff for vases and cosmetic stuff, nothing functional. Functional stuff I use PETG, but these colors and final product always look great and is easy to print. The matte finish is also very paintable with acrylic paint markers. Probably just like everyone else, I already have too many rolls, but can you really have too much??????

that's an odd statement... they're both good at what they're made for.
PLA if you want rigidity and accuracy
PETG if you want flex and a bit more temperature handling

ain't nobody printing miniatures with PETG, nor are they printing the functional components of a foam dart blaster with it.
ain't nobody printing coil spring launchers with PLA, nor are the printing anything else that needs to move/flex.
