I've been running in the Pegasus regularly for over a decade. It's not my absolute favorite shoe but it's still good and nothing else similar is ever at a price this good. I'm thinking about buying another pair even though I have a pair already that's good for another few hundred.

These are not a highly technical running shoe and one of my favorite models for weekend trips where I have one pair of shoes for running and walking. I wear other models for racing or long runs but these are fine for walking. If you're concerned, there are better walking shoes for sure.
