Kind of a confusing collaboration here. Bowie sells other very similar open-style earbuds for a third of this price, and in my opinion they sound very good. So is the Bose tuning and the Dolby certification worth the extra cost? They're advertising a "Knowles" tweeter, but I'm not enough of an audiophile to know what that means.

The other thread that was posted yesterday I think summed it up pretty nicely. Bose essentially tuned the hardware that was provided.I honestly don't understand the strategy they're going for here, you're going to have a hard time getting people to spend this kind of money on that brand even if it has a Bose logo on it. It's not like this brand has been around for a decade and provided other mid to high-quality stuff on their own before.

Literally wearing the cheapie ones right now and quite happy with them. Have to take them off my ears every couple hours, tho.

The cheap ones are incredible for the price. We got them for our kids and they're happy. The $200 Bose sound much better, but not 10x better. I'm wondering if Baseus manipulated Bose into this partnership? Doesn't seem like something they'd want to do because of their own Open Ultra headphones.

For what it's worth Bose recently did the same thing for a pair of Skullcandy ear buds.

Amazon did a collab with Bose like this a few years back. I think that Baseus has a good thing going with their moderately priced buds. Almost everyone who tries their buds or headphones generally likes them at that $20-$60 price point.
Not sure why they would want to compete in the $100 plus price point with more established names.

curious how good these are in terms of sound quality and features. being open ear theres going to be sound quality degradation. I'll order a pair and report back.

I'm pretty happy with my Baseus MC1 buds. Yes, the bass isn't going to be impressive on any open-style earbuds, but they're definitely more balanced than I expected. MUCH better sound than any Shokz bone conduction headphones I've tried. I use them while biking, and also just around the house when I don't need noise isolation.

I guess "sound by Bose" is a new thing. They did a pair of Skullcandy earbuds earlier this year, too.

I have the over the ear versions of this Bose collab. I compared them to my Sony xm4's. In most aspects other than deep bass I'd say they're as good if not better than my XM4's. Probably mostly due to having newer technology and materials but also it's costs a lot less.
Baseus not only has a nice aesthetic they're pretty quality in hand IMO

Meh. The incremental sound improvement doesn't warrant the premium price. I'll stick to my $20 anker v20i.

Meh they only sound marginally better. Noticable deepr base with no distortion. Sound still breaks at higher volumes not worth the premium stick with 20-30 range. These open ears just aren't made for high fidelity.

FYI - These won top spot or placed top 3 in several YouTube tech reviewers lists. Stating they have the best bass and sound in the open ear category. The Skullcandy / Bose collab resulted in an excellent pair of earbuds. You end up basically getting a pair of QC buds for 1/3 the price. Have no idea why Bose would show people you don't need to buy their own pair of buds. Hope that licensing was worth the lost sales.
