Yep, headers wrong price and wrong product linked. Not sure why people are calling this a "crazy deal" though. $3399 for a 5090 is solid but I wouldn't be calling it crazy when you can DIY a better system for cheaper and parts are now available. Yes yes not everyone wants to DIY but that's how I'm rating something as a "crazy deal".

Only went FP due to incorrect misleading price in title. Only so so as is.

This is 5060 Lenovo laptop. False post

5060 not 5090

So not only is the price listed incorrect but the link is also wrong.

I am sorry everyone. As we were preparing the deal, there was a pet emergency, which didn't allow us to fully finish this write-up, and the links were mixed with the other laptop, which led to this issue.

I expired the FP deal and all links are fixed.

What's wrong with this system? It was $3,666.49, wasn't it?
That's about how much the parts are worth. So it's a good deal but not slick yet.

Decisions, Decisions. This is the computer I want. Should I bite now? or should I chance that it will be lower during black friday? I'm not asking anyone to predict the future, but wonder if anyone can chime in to help me click the buy button or wait. hmmmmmmmm

Thanks!

You might as well get it. The bulk of the price is in the 5090, and 5090s aren't going down in price anytime soon, as the FEs still sell out instantly as soon as they drop.

Only if it's under $3K can it really be called a crazy deal. Micro Center's HP systems with similar specs are still priced around the same range.
You aren't finding any prebuilts with a 5090 and a Core i9 for under $3k, unless the rest of the system is a HP Pavilion lol

I bit on this deal. I've been staring at Micro Center prices the past few days for a 5090. Only refurb Omens at $3500 and Powerspec open box at $3599 around me.

The price of this deal was exactly the range I was hoping for. Fingers crossed the Lenovo is good.

A bought the Lenovo Legion RTX 5080 OLED gaming laptop a month ago for $2,300 from Micro Center. Do I really need a desktop 5090 deal?

Hi friend! Thank you for your opinion! I got it!

I vaguely remember last year when Lenovo did their pre-black Friday sales, they had the "BLOWOUT" coupon. I remember talking to a Lenovo rep, and they said, the blowout sale reduces the computer at the lowest price they can make it. In fact last year, the blowout sale was cheaper than black Friday because it stacked with some other coupon, which was not available during the black Friday sale (since it was a glitch or something).
Anyway, thanks again, I needed the nudge off the fence Smilie

The cheapest in-stock components I've found are around $2.3K for the GPU and $500 for the CPU, which leaves only about $600 for RAM, motherboard, PSU, storage, peripherals, and Windows 11. Even if you managed to find the GPU for $2K, that still only gives you roughly $800 to cover the rest, and that's a stretch for a comparable setup.
Also worth noting, the SSD listed here, PCIe Gen4 Performance TLC Opal, is a $400+ 2TB drive on its own.
If you believe this prebuilt can be outdone for less, I'd genuinely like to see a parts list with everything still in stock. Otherwise, your take comes across as the typical anti-prebuilt stance. It's time to accept that prebuilts occasionally do beat DIY builds on price, even if DIY still tends to win on component quality.

I just bought one. I have had my current Lenovo Legion tower with a 1080 for the last 10 years. I haven't had any hardware problems the whole time. The only adjustment/upgrade I've made is I upgraded to an SSD hard drive. I've been waiting for the 5090 version of the Gen 10 tower to come out, and for it to be at a semi-decent price. The time has finally arrived! …I like the 3 year warranty they offer for the $99 bucks. It's what pushed me over to go pre build again.

I used urlhasbeenblocked for my purchase and it was able to successfully track the cashback for my purchase, even if I used BLOWOUT50
