Amazon price history 90D show this price is the lowest in history. This one has 400V clamping voltage which is same or better than belkin at less than half of the price for 12 outlet. If you live in area with rare lightning storm then this is good enough but if you live in area with more frequent lightning storm then you don't want to buy this or the belkin, you would want the tripp lite tlp808 which has clamping voltage of 330V, the joules on the surge protector don't matter, the most important is clamping voltage, the lower the better because that's what actually protect your expensive electronics and your data on your computer.

Where do you see the clamping voltage listed? I couldn't find it on the page or in the user manual.

The spacing between outlets is too small. At least half of those outlets will be unaccessible after plugging in 3 or 4 large transformers.

Why do they recommend plugging items like fridge, tv, treadmill etc directly into wall? Wouldn't it be better into surge protector with high joules? Lower area of my house has only 2 prong sockets in some rooms. Can I use a 2 prong to 3 prong adapter and rhen plug surge protector into that? Or 2 prong surge protector like this https://a.co/d/bqk9qCF

Biggest thing to know, this level surge protectors is mostly snake oil. May have a little sense on Gulf coast. Second, if you have so old wiring, you may want to hire electrician for inspection as your problems are likely bigger than a surge protector.

If you have no ground a surge protector isn't going to do anything. You need to get those outlets grounded

Google AI
Google AI is often wrong and mixes up information from another product.

According to a post from another thread where someone bought this surge protector (https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=179420056&postcount=8), the clamping voltages are really high in the 900V-1200V range which is not good (L–N, N–G 1.2 kV; L–G 0.9 kV).
