Firehouse Subs also has a challenge:
1st order 1500 points
2nd order 5000 points
3rd order 12000 points
It may stack with this offer.
Edit: Confirmed. I was able to get 1500 on top of the 1000 points I received from using the offer. It stacks. I think the rewards points needed to buy a small Italian is like 8000. This kind of reminds me of Jersey Mike's. You play their "game" to get a boost in points and then you can use offers to get yourself closer to the points needed to get a free sub from the rewards.
So if I were to play the challenge, I would max out at 18,500 loyalty points (that means I could get two small Italians for free). I would then accumulate 3k from ordering three times. To round off at 24k points, to get 3 small Italians, I would need to make 3 more orders with this offer, after that, to get around 24.5k points.
Edit: the sparkling cherry limeade is good!
Ordering (factual):
Firehouse Subs- Sorry Firehouse Subs
Jersey Mike's- Way more options for toppings. Has the meats stated as part of the sandwich already on it (cannot customize to take it off- who would if that is what they ordered right?)
Prices (subjective):
I ended up burning some points for a mini sub at Jersey Mike's and Firehouse Subs, I used this deal to get the medium. Could not really compare the prices
Size (subjective):
Could not compare the size since one was the smallest size for one place and one was the middle size for the other.
Taste (subjective):
I get a bolder taste from Firehouse Subs. The meats used in the Italian are more pronounced. The cheese is just melted on the meat, but I cannot taste much. Jersey Mike's tastes more fresh probably because of more veggies. The cheese is more pronounced (use more Provolone).
Both are good. Good challenge so far? Jersey Mike's. One can make picks and get points. The Fire House Challenge requires one to make a purchase in order to get the points.
