I don't have this exact one but this style of cutter and highly recommend. Borrowed it from my neighbor once and then had to get one for myself.

This isn't really a lifetime warranty. "If a part fails during the warranty period shown on your receipt, bring the part to an AutoZone store and you will receive a replacement or refund. Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, abuse, other faulty parts, improper installation or off-road, commercial or marine use. Warranties on replacement parts cover the unused portion of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. Warranties expire when you sell your vehicle."

I have the husky version from home depot, currently $15 there, but the thing works great. Probably my favorite pvc cutter of all time. The only issue is the latch sucks a*s. When you store the handle closed with the latch, and just barely touch it, the latch releases and it pops open. Other than that extremely irritating issue, the cutter is awesome. I have a ton of bamboo in my back yard and use this to cut the bamboo also.
