The OLED panel in this is reported to flicker if anyone is sensitive the that. The IPS panels do not have any flickering.
Really like HP's design philosophy on the Omen Max line this generation: full-power everything, no throttling, if the user doesn't like the fan noise they can customize fan and power settings on their own.
Good to see a gaming laptop with actual advanced optimus and G-sync. Too many "gaming" laptops posted these days without adaptive sync making the front page IMO. Like the 2025 Lenovo Legion 5.
