$200 for (I assume) a very lightly used 2024 scribe is a great deal. I would definitely bite if they didnt showcase the lighter/faster/thinner/better new one....

What's gonna be in the new model compared to this one? Color screen? More pixels?

IMO these are too big for reading. The normal Paperwhite is a good size for that.
And for writing there are better software experiences. Super Note is probably the best (has universal OCR note search and stuff).
Counterpoint: printer paper is 13.9"

For me, the new AI features are compelling. For example, the older one cannot search through my handwritten notes. At all. It is quite dumb about that aspect of it.

Oh wow. You sold me on the new one. I've been wanting a kindle I can take notes on and can read comics on too. Too bad Amazon crapped the bed with Comixology. Hopefully it'll be easy to import scans.

It Depends on. I would prefer a 13 inches e-reader for reading a4 size pdf.

I'm interested in next year's Kindle colorsoft scribe but $680 is way over my budget
