i just returned 2 of them... you can only tighten so much with the knob and the friction pads will slide/rotate when underload. It might work for very light stuff like a go pro or a phone when standstill. i tested using 5 lb and it doesn't work at all, with claimed weight of 7 lbs.

I spent a ton of time looking at phone mounts with clamps on one end and $14 is about average price. I don't see a deal here, especially if it has issues.

I use this kind of clamp and arm a lot for holding a small camera (Wyze or webcam) or phone. I love the clamp's versatility and the arm's maneuverability. That said, the picture of holding an umbrella straight out is just fiction. Aside from the obvious wind-shakes-the-tripod problem, the balls would really be struggling under the weight.
Neewer does have good quality parts, I will probably be buying this for my limited needs.
Update: without prime the price is $25 and the code only drops it $1.25. Frown

Given the widely used Manfrotto Super Clamp, which is a much stronger clamp capable of effectively gripping larger diameter objects, the name "Double Super Clamp" is a poor choice for this item. One of the major problems with this item, along with many other similar double clamps connected via an articulating piece, is that the connection piece itself has very little real strength. These are decent enough for holding light items that the user doesn't mind shaking a bit (if motion of the overall setup is involved), but they should not be used for holding medium to heavy photo gear that requires solid and vibration-free mounting.
