Is this a good foam pump solution? I bought Softsoap Anti Bacterial and found out the hard way, not all solutions work with a foam pump, and that one was drizzly and non-foaming and felt gross to the hand wash. I was able to return it thankfully. I used 1 to 3 soap to water, which is usually plenty enough to generate a nice thick foam, yet not run through the concentrate. No dice.

Nope. It's also very thin and watery, it doesn't lather at all. Better off getting something like Dial since even Softsoap is garbage now.

If it's thin and watery, that means it's good for a foam pump. You basically make foam pump soap by mixing soap with water in a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio. If it's already thin and watery, just add less water. It'll be a much more effective use than a non-foam pump if you don't like its thin and watery property.

Thanks for letting us know. I like how Equate brand is "Paraben free, Phthalate free, triclosan and formaldehyde donor free." For inexpensive soap, that's a good deal and free shipping for those with Walmart+ membership.

For those with Costco memberships - if I'm not mistaken, Costco's Softsoap hand soap goes on sale for $10 for two 80 oz bottles, which is almost the same per oz as this deal, but for the brand. Of course, there's the cost of the membership, etc. to consider.

- antibacterial soap is bad for your body.
- bathroom soap tends to focus on moisturizing your hands instead of cleaning them
I use dish soap in the bathroom because it focuses on cleaning and getting rid of grease. I don't need my hands to feel soft. I need them clean.Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
