Note: The following parts are not included and sold separately:
• Kick Pedal
• Snare Stand
• Hi-Hat Stand
• Drum Throne
I would add that this isn't a huge loss on this deal considering the quality of the set. Stands are pretty cheap and the Roland throne isn't great. The Roland kick pedal is decent but there are much better options.

Wow this is really tempting. I've heard nothing but good things about the TD-27 module and those digital snare/hi-hat pads that Roland uses. For $2,399 shipped it seems like you're getting near pro-level specs without paying flagship prices. Anyone here already using this version and able to share how the feel and pad response are in a real setup?

Have had a TD-27 and just got a 516. The new module sounds amazing. Much better than the TD-27. Granted it is quite a bit more expensive than this, but you do get a much better kick pad plus a bigger floor tom pad. If you want to go with a v51 later it's $1900 for the module alone.

Seems shady to have the stands and kick in every picture with no disclaimer but to put it at the end saying xxxx not included. Still seems high with new releases.

Any other similar codes for other instruments? Looking for a cabinet/console type digital piano from Roland, Casio, or Yamaha.

Is this worth getting for the price if I have a Td17KVX2 or for 3700 is the TD516 THAT much better if I don't gig or record? Is the hot spot that big of a deal? Thanks!

I think this is a great price for the upgrade. Can't vouch for the 516 and there probably won't be many who can. But if you're not gigging or recording, 27KV2 should be great.

That is hard question to answer. These sets are great but the feel is never really comparable to a real set. I would go test it out in person if you can.

Pure bologna on the original #3,850 they have sliced as the original price. Its really $2,999. They make it look like a higher reduction or sale price when its not. Amazon has it for $2,999.00 and so does Sweetwater. Granted, better at $2,400 but its really from an original target price of $2999.00.

I have this and have nothing but praise for the sound and quality. There is nothing quite like the feel of a real set but there are just so many perks to electronic these days. Clone hero, melodics, and you can pair your phone and jam out to anything you want. The knobs on the module can control the channels separately. Perhaps not important to some but I would choose this again in a heartbeat
