Btw, what's weird is all of the people bashing the smooth tear, such as on the kroger site, and saying they don't tear properly... but yet I have not had a single sheet not tear off properly.

One weird thing about this deal is that with the way the sale pricing is working, the best deal is actually on the 4 packs of TP or 2 packs of Paper towels. Usually you get better deals with larder quantities, but the smaller packs more more on sale right now, saving you a buck or so per pack more than ordering the larger packs.
Which ones are those? It seems the 4 mega pack is the best value at $4.99?<br />

edit: sadly, you can't do it. It says the 20% off code can't be applied when buying those. They must be considered clearance items I guess. And so the 20% off code is BARELY saving anything. 9 packs of those you listed would be $45. 2 packs of the 12=72 would be the same amount of toilet paper and would cost $43.18. So the 20% code is barely better than worthless, since it's not allowing it on the good priced rolls.

weird... I somehow didn't even notice that, which indeed would be the best price. I was looking at the 12 mega for $16, but slightly better on that 4 pack.<br />

20% worked on the Charmin early in the sale - they must have caught on that it was a really good price. I didn't have Bounty in my cart.
Maybe if I wait a few days people will complain and walgreens will think it's a bug and enable using it again...
I had tried it with only charmin and also with only bounty and now it doesn't work on either of those. Such a shame they stopped it because basically you'd be getting the same am9unt of toilet paper for around $7 or $8 less if buying 9 packs. Or another way of looking at it is 5 packs of 4 rolls would be the equivalent of 8 more standard rolls for $2-3 less than 1 pack of 12 mega xl.<br />
