I bought it for $129 so yes it was and apparently the only difference is a bit of ergonomics

I believe the old model used a brushed motor with a spring mechanism for driving the nails. The new model has a brushless motor with a hybrid spring/air driving system. You'll need an air compressor to recharge the compressed air after a few hundred firings. If I'm incorrect about anything I'm sure someone will politely chime in. LOL
