Looks like it will blow away in the slightest wind.

I have what looks to be the exact same product by Yitahome. It is quite sturdy and has stood up to some pretty high winds.

If you go to the site they say you can hang a fan from the circular hook.

Yeah same here, I have a 14x22 that looks to be the same style and it's quite sturdy. Super pain to build, but really nice when it's done.

I used concrete screws to anchor it to my patio. It's not going anywhere

Seems like a good deal. If you don't have existing concrete to put it in, just use a couple of sonotubes from home depot. Worst part is digging the holes

How long did it take you to build?

2 full days with two people. I didn't find it fun, but we really enjoy the gazebo.

I'd rent a gas auger from HD to dig the holes...much easier and faster.

Is it waterproof? Looks like individual panels on the roof, I would think it would still leak in the rain.

I have the same product under a different brand. The roof hasn't leaked over the summer, but rain, of course, blows in from the side. In non-blowing rain, you can sit under mine and be dry.

I did not attach it to the wooden deck and it hasn't moved yet in storms. My thought was, I would rather a tornado take it than take it and my deck with it. I think this is a decision based on what you want and your particular deck. If it's a cement pad, bolt it down in my opinion. That said, I live in the midwest and have winds and it hasn't moved this past summer without being bolted down...yet.
