What is a "mini meme tool"? These are various sorts of water pump pliers -- aka Knipex knockoffs.

I have the mini pliers and the jaws metal is very soft. First use of loosening a tight metal cap worn down the jaw's sharp teeth. Then I pulled out the Knipex Cobra to complete the task. It's not for demanding task.

I got these on clearance last year. They aren't great for high-demand tasks, but they are work well for lighter tasks. I keep them in my kitchen drawer for small tasks and opening tight lids.

You got to be joking. What kind of lids are your referring to - ketchup bottles?
Most kitchen lids would not fit this tiny wrenches. Max opening is 1-3/4 inches.
The jaws are too short to get around the max opening range.
Additionaly, lids would be destroyed and scratched up using these pliers.

Don't buy these tools for opening lids. Use proper tools for the purpose.

Try these for opening jars and lids. They are cheaper than these tools and will not destroy your lids.
