Can I use this to cut my 9 month old son hair with the proper guards?

just fyi idk why Philips insists on placing the on-off button where our thumbs naturally want to rest while using the trimmer. I've had the Costco version of this for years. yes, it's my main trimmer because it does a great job of trimming my beard evenly (the norelco one-blade SUCKS at trimming the beard evenly, especially around the chin area). but know that this is a super annoying trait of their trimmers because if you're not paying attention, your thumb accidentally turns it off mid-trim, and for me this happens annoyingly often. why they couldn't place the on-off switch at the bottom of the stem on the back, idk but it'd be a fantastic product once they switch the button's placement

Totally agree, it also sometimes turns on by itself inside a case. They really need to go back to slide toggle type of switches. Otherwise excellent price for a great, durable trimmer.

I wonder if this is the same proprietary cord the OneBlade uses.
