Seems like silk PLAs are cheap these days. New to 3D printing so I'm guessing these filaments are not very popular?

If you need anything to look metallic then you use silk.
The brand as well as the type is very popular.
If all you intend to print are outdoor items , mechanical items, or items that are going to be stressed from the elements, heat , and being flexed all the time you wouldn't use silk.

How do you store these?

Same as any filament. Most people use 4L cereal containers, but the main goal is to prevent them from absorbing moisture from the air.

In box until opened, then used and re-sealed in bags using eSUN's vacuum bags.
I think less people are buying them as they are "slower" speed PLA, meaning they look great but aren't able to support the faster printers.
Printing speed: 30-60MM/S

Uh, I don't think this is true.

Ah, my brain crossed wires and I never noticed. I did mean "many". It is a very popular storage method, with a great number of 3d printed solutions surrounding them. If I had to hazard a guess based on my visits to homes and randomly spot a 3d printer, "most" people just leave their spools in the open air.
However, all of my friends who cosplay or print do, in fact, use the 4L cereal storage containers.

I use sunlu silk a lot. Use the light gold, red copper, and silver to print out trophies for work events. Use the rainbow gradients for those wiggly dragons. It's always good to have a collection of those sitting around to give away, people love them and I'm always surprised at how many people have never seen something 3d printed before, even today.

the price varies slightly between the different colors, so the extra $$ you're seeing is likely due to your combo of colors
