The $419 variant comes with DJI Googles N3 compatible with Avata2 and DJI O4.
I impulse bought it last time it was on discount and it is a good intro into FPV. I been flying myself for years, needed many hours of sim practice before actual flying, and this combo makes it super easy, decent video as well. Family and friends love it. For seasoned FPV person it is quite sluggish but still fun.

I got this for the same price last month. This is a good value at $159. I flew this on an open park with mild to strong winds. Visually, it was strugggling as it was tilting to the side, but I was surprised that the video output was clear and stable. So this is not trash at $159. It's a good deal if you are able to use it for your purpose.

what is going on in your room/home that you need to check every single corner?

you might as well position multiple wifi cameras in the home when you are away.

Is the $419 bundle a good price?

I got a DJI Mini 1 (OG), but it's not an FPV. Been thinking of trying some FPV. Even got a sim, and wondering if this is a good one to get for that, or if I should start building my own FPV drone.

Is it worth it for the goggles alone, like using the neo as a starter drone and then using the goggles with an upgraded drone later on?

$419 for the full FPV pkg with goggles and motion controller. It was that price on Prime day recently when I bought it. It's crazy fun to fly and the best value for a digital FPV cinewhoop style drone with this many features. However the Neo2 is about to be released, so I might have regrets...

I really need this ability. Previously while on vacation I couldn't see my cat in cam recordings for days. Just don't want too many cams indoors.

Better build your own if serious. But this can be a good start. Then you can buy or build proper quad using DJI O4 system and these N3 googles. Still need a controller and dont build anyhhing crazy like 5 incher at first. 3-3.5 inch 4s drone is good at first, start it on 2S or 50% throttle limiter so you dont loose it out right

FPV is a total fun

I've been building/flying analog FPV quads and whoops for 10 yrs and decided this Neo motion flymore pkg was the best value for getting into digital FPV, but do hate that sluggish motion controller. I wish they gave the option for a normal TX instead of having to buy it separately. I do love not having to solder tiny wires, fuss with betaflight, or worry about lipo charging safety.

Included tutorial and three packs and I was able to enjoy it. Less precise but totally working solution. It flies in angle with altitude hold exclusively, max angle is small - like 30 degrees.
