I have seen both the Costco and Sam's Club Black Friday/Cyber Monday ads so far, and it seems to me that the "deals" this year, are just what the normal prices of the items would be without the tariffs. Like, the PS5 deals out there are just bringing it down to the price that it was before Sony raised the prices. I also think that making Black Friday the whole month long has really diluted the quality of the sales. There is no need for door busters when everybody shops online.
I'll post this here as I posted on the BB thread too.
This is the exact same model outside of SKU as the BB one.
I put both sites, side by side, same picture besides slightly off measurements.
Best Buy's Q55K and this one seem 1:1, but because this has free installation, this may be the one to beat.
For reference... Best Buy's installation fee for a TV this size is $399.99 haha. At that point, you might as well go for the Best Buy Hisense 100" U760N or whatever at $1399 with the free installation. That one also upgrades from direct lit, maybe 400ish nit range, to FALD with 800 nits peak, so true, entry level HDR.
I had these on one of my previous cars and they were good up here in New England. I wouldn't get them full price, but on sale they're great for the price.
If you read the reviews on the Walmart site, it is scary just how many arrive with broken screens and how hard it is dealing with Walmart customer service.

I asked about this in another thread. How do you know which Best Buy tv has free mounting?

I'd rate it just above fire TV personally, but yeah, not great. All of them have bloat these days.
The ironic thing is Google TV is the only one where you can minimize the ads and sponsored content, to the point it's... almost ad-free. Good luck doing that with TizenOS, webOS, Roku and the others.
