Did you mean the oscillating tool that it comes with? Or you added the grinder then returned just that and kept everything else including the extra battery?

I added the more expensive grinder as the free tool, then returned it. Kit came out to $245 plus tax. Insane deal considering there's that extra 4ah battery included that's not even in the description.

Okay that makes sense. I bought the other set with the grinder flashlight drill an impact driver from last week for 220. Debating if it's worth returning that and then hacking this like you did.

i picked 3 of these kits, bundled with the $250 grinder, which i cancelled. there was also a 4ah battery in the box. for $245 this is an insane deal. the batteries alone cost that much when on sale. the 6ah flexvolts are typically $100 when on "sale", the 4ah is $40. you're getting 3 amazing tools for free here.

Agreed. This is one of the hotter Dewalt deals I've seen this year. Alot of value in this even if you keep the tools and don't resell them. Only thing better then this deal in recent history was that lowes mistake back in May. Got a "2" pack of 4 ah battery's, and 2 tools for $99. I cashed in on that big time.

I also saw online from people buying this kit it comes with an additional 4ah battery as well. I believe its just a stadard 4ah battery nothing special but it comes in the kit. I think the packaging has it on there as well but its hidden for some reason. Look up videos of the kit and you will see the additional battery! So two 6ah flexvolts and one 4ah battery with all these tools seems like an insane deal!

I've been searching for this deal for several days and found a store available for in store pickup with the free extra tool. I got 2 of them one with the router and one with a jig saw. Now I need to figure out how to have the store ship me the item. Has anyone had success with a brick and mortar Home Depot shipping an item that you are unable to pickup? I've got to figure something out here
