The two magnetic base pieces separate leave a small channel, and you know those rafter bike hanging hooks? The airbar channels fit into those perfectly, you can use drywall anchors or floorbeams, just make sure you get a hanging hook that's deep enough to hold it in place.
Source - I have one of the old 47" versions mounted on the wall of my garage above my workspace. It is AWESOME, even if it can be a bit loud on high. It's definitely not as loud on low as some of the 12" reviewers are saying, likely because it's a bigger fan moving the same amount of air with less effort.
This is a one star company if there ever was one. I bought a fan with a remote. A week later they said that it was on it's way but that it didn't have a remote and they gave me a coupon for $6 off my next purchase. I wasn't happy but I decided to deal with it when it arrived since it had already shipped. About two weeks later I still did not have the fan and I reached out to them. They said it had actually shipped AFTER they notified me of the no remote email. This was very dishonest - scammy. They should have just cancelled the order or gave me that choice but they lied instead. They said it would arrive on 10/21. On 10/23 I still did not have my (now remoteless) fan and I reached out to them and asked for a refund. I needed to go buy a fan - it's been hot - I thought I'd have one already. They said it's on it's way and that somewhere in the FAQ it states that things may arrive late blah blah and they refused to do anything about it or even acknowledge that they had falsely advertised the fan as having a remote and that they had shipped it AFTER they were aware of the mistake but tricked me into thinking (lied) that it had shipped PRIOR to their awareness of this fact. I still have no fan from them. I had to go out and buy one and Morning "save" still has my money and refuses to even make a coherent attempt to respond to my emails (the only way to contact them.) Needless to say, I recommend you avoid Morningsave at all costs. It's a crap shoot at best.
